The BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT) welcomed a group of children from 57357 Hospital on a unique cultural and recreational visit, during which they learned about Egypt's history, the grandeur of its civilization, and the splendor of its heritage.
The visit came in response to an invitation from Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA, who believes in the social role that the Library plays towards different segments of society.
During their visit, children enjoyed a tour of the treasures of Egypt's great heritage, which the center displays using innovative and interactive technological methods. They also explored the greatness of Egyptian civilization through distinctive digital presentations, foremost among which was the award-winning and patented Culturama show.
The center's staff, led by the distinguished director Ghassan Gabriel and author Adel Moussa, wrote and directed a puppet show presented by a remarkable group of the center's staff members, which brought joy to the children's hearts and smiles to their innocent faces.
The event also featured a workshop entitled “Your Name is Your Drawing,” which aimed to introduce young people to each hieroglyphic sign, its origin, its pronunciation, and how it is related to Egyptian society and our daily lives. Children emulated the experience of the ancient Egyptian writer with his interrconnected and harmonious knowledge and understanding of science, biology, society, and the environment.
