The Dutch Ambassador in a Visit to the BA

Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, met with H.E. Han-Maurits Schaapveld, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Egypt, and his accompanying delegation on Wednesday, 19 November 2020.
The meeting witnessed a conversation on the worldwide challenges faced by coronavirus, as Dr. Elfeki stressed the BA role of providing its online cultural services to the largest number of users and researchers during this crisis.
Furthermore, Dr. Elfeki presented the Dutch Ambassador with a number of BA publications, including the book The Photographic Memory of Cairo.
Ambassador Schaapveld toured the BA and was introduced to the services it offers to its patrons.
