The BA Organizes an Event to Raise Awareness about Dealing with Leukemia

BA General Collections and Services Department, in cooperation with Nureed Hayat association, organize an event entitled “Patient Journey - Living with Leukemia,” on Sunday 30 September 2018, at 1:00pm, in the BACC Multi-Purpose Hall. The event includes interviews with doctors, patients, and caregivers whether relatives or friends, to consolidate the culture of dealing with Leukemia, as well as highlight ways of supporting patients. Additionally, the event will display and discuss the most important books and references from the BA collection that tackle this topic.
This event is the first in the “Patient Journey” series which is dedicated to raising awareness on the challenges facing cancer patients, and coincides with the global interest in Leukemia in the month of September.
