Discovering Military Fortifications in the Ancient Military Road at the BA

The BA Calligraphy Center holds a Seminar on 22 April 2010 entitled “Discovering Military Fortifications in the Ancient Military Road between Egypt and Palestine in North Sinai”, hosting Dr. Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, Head of Antiquities of Lower Egypt Department, Supreme Council for Antiquities.
This event is held in collaboration with the Higher Council of Antiquities, on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day.
It is worth mentioning that the discovery reveals the features of the largest fortified city from the latest Pharaonic period.
The lecture starts at 1:00 pm at the BA Auditorium, Main Library.
