A Memorandum of Understanding between the BA and the UAE’s TRENDS Research and Advisory

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory in the United Arab Emirates, signed a memorandum of understanding for cultural cooperation between both entities. The ceremony took place at the BA Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT) in the Smart Village, in the presence of a high-level delegation from both sides.

The MoU aims to enhance cooperation and partnership in the fields of research, science, knowledge, and technology. It also strives to open new horizons for innovation, exchange knowledge and experiences, develop joint research and training projects and programs, promote innovation and technology, and establish cooperation with regard to sustainable development and specialized academic and research consultations.

Dr. Ahmed Zayed said that the MoU will contribute to joint cooperation in cultural activities, including organizing events, exchanging experiences and publications, and conducting joint research activities in a way that supports the enlightenment movement, scientific culture, and literature.
