Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, witnessed the inauguration of the Science Museum in Tanta; a remarkable step in the path of permanent cooperation between the BA and the Ministry of Higher Education, represented in the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. The event took place on Monday, 23 November 2020, and was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, President of the Academy, and Dr. Emad Etman, President of Tanta University.

Elfeki asserted that the BA welcomed the collaboration with the Academy to establish and equip the Museum, since the BA is a center for creativity and heritage preservation, commending the efforts exerted by the Academy to open prospects for new generations. He also mentioned that education is the only key to development.

Furthermore, Elfeki maintained that the opening of this museum is an occasion cherished by everyone, as it takes place amidst a state of deterioration in scientific culture, which Egypt has been experiencing lately. He emphasized the importance of simplifying science for children, and called for the return of the TV programs that were aired on Egyptian television to that end, and were widely viewed for their simplicity.
